market center literally known as market center, market center has most of the island's many shops and diners. it also features a farmer's market on the weekend's and a flea market at the twenty third of every month. festivals and activities are held here as well. |

mahina community school due to the relatively small size of the town, they have opted to combine the middle and high school. mahina community school encompasses grades seven to twelve. it has a small campus with only one two story building and while it can be a little lackluster, it prides itself on its sports. |
